Big Kid

I am, a big kid. Or at least I like to act that way at times. Today was a Sunday, and I must admit that Sundays are my favorite days of the weeks. Why, you ask? Well, honestly I enjoy the day when I have nothing to worry about having to do. I like the day when I know that I will be able to sit around with family and joke and play. I enjoy having lunch with my step-family and I enjoy playing with my little cousins, or playing games such as Scrabble with my cousin and grandmother, and often others.

Today, I was blessed with a beautiful sunny day where I was able to go outside after lunch and go on an extremely brief golf-cart ride (the battery ran low) that my cousins wanted me to take them on. After this, my cousins, whom I was riding on the golf-cart became disgruntled saying things such as "I'm bored". Oh boy, I thought. *Shrugs*

After this, I ate a wonderful lunch! And then after lunch, I went back outside to accompany the still bored almost sad appearing little girls (haha). So, in an effort to help them become un-bored, I sit on the ground and played in the dirt/sand. Yes, a 21 year old was making sand castles and playing tic-tac-toe in the sand! I enjoyed it! :). After that, I played yet another creative game with them. It was simple. We took turns hiding a very colorful paper chain that one of the girls made around the house, in the woods, and even under a car.

After all of this was done, and they were less bored I played the Wii with one (maybe this was prior to outside?) . Wee, I'm playing the Wii.... yeah.

And finially, we played a game of Scrabble with our grandmother and one of the cousins.

This, was my Sunday afternoon in a nutshell.

Then, I came home, ate walked my dog, ate supper, and now am about to watch District 9 with my mom and step-pop.

Overall, today has been a great day full of funness with family! :)
